The festive season brings an increase footfall into shops, plenty of guests and Christmas games too but if your flooring isn’t the right fit for the business it’s in, it can soon become damaged and need replacing. Luxury Vinyl Tiles

LVT’s are the chosen product by many retailers, and it’s no wonder when you realise that they are affordable, easy to clean and most importantly, they are durable. Having a strong, sturdy floor during this season is vital for retailers, hotels and restaurants. The footfall will increase massively during this season and so, your flooring will need to be able to withstand this. LVT’s can also handle topical moisture well and so when customers are entering with wet, snow-covered boots, the flooring will not be damaged.

Laminate

Laminate is tough enough to withstand the heavy footsteps of the festive season and is a great fit for an entrance or hallway of an office. It provides a real wood effect, on a much lower budget. It is incredibly easy to maintain due to its easy wipe down surface, meaning you won’t have to worry about any spillages from the office Christmas party. Laminate flooring works best with laminate underlay underneath, as this will ensure a soundproofing quality, whilst protecting the material from imperfections and moisture damage.  

Carpet

Carpet may be a preferred choice of flooring in a home due to its cosy, cushioned feel, but plenty of commercial businesses use carpets too, as there has been a surge in the popularity of carpets over the past few years. Carpet tiles are super easy to replace as if one becomes damaged, it is simply replaced by another, unlike a carpet which would need replacing as a whole.
