Our team has recently completed a new flooring project for Seddon Construction, a new science and discover centre called Eureka! on the Merseyside docks.

Project budget: £147,000
Project Timescales: started in November 2021 and completed in March 2022.
Project Location: Old Ferry Terminal, Merseyside Docks
Project Objectives: Latex Screed, Fit Forbo Marmoleum, Forbo Safety Vinyl, Rawson Carpet Tiles, Gradus Nosings
Work Completed:
Latex screed all sub floors, fit Forbo Marmoleum, Forbo Safety vinyl sheet, Rawson carpet tiles & Gradus Nosings. Wall tiling & Whiterock also completed, along with primary & secondary barrier matting.
Project Outcome: The sub floors were very poor and required a heavy latex screed before fitting the new floor coverings. All areas were surveyed prior to the works commencing and costs agreed with Seddon Construction.
Fitting large open areas in cold conditions was a challenge, Seddon Construction hired large heaters following our advice.
