Five Places You May Have Spotted Our Floors in Manchester

As a Commercial Flooring Contractor in the heart of Stockport, many of our installations are right here on our doorstep. In fact, they’re probably on your doorstep too, you just may have never noticed, which is why we’ve got five of our favourites to show you below.

The Hilton Hotel: Cloud 23

With floor-to-ceiling windows encompassing the 23rd floor of the Hilton Hotel, there’s nothing quite like looking down and taking in the views of Manchester from above. If you look a little further down though, you’ll see the carpet which was installed by yours truly. The interior of Cloud 23 has a contemporary design, with an atmosphere like no other which is what made this installation so fresh and exciting.

 

Stratstone Ferrari, Wilmslow 

Things don’t get much slicker than Ferrari and that’s certainly true of the Stratstone Ferrari Manchester showroom which relocated in 2011 to the stunning, brand new facility in Wilmslow. Ferrari is one of the world’s most recognisable brands and so when it came to the floor, the design needed to be reserved enough so all focus was on the cars.

 

Macclesfield General Hospital

Although you probably don’t want to have seen it, the flooring within the Macclesfield General Hospital was also installed by us. Flooring within a healthcare facility like a hospital has to be hygienic which is why rubber flooring is always the natural choice. It is non-absorbent, easy to clean and also shock resistant, meaning it can withstand the high amount of traffic it receives daily.

 

Stockport Town Hall

Located just a three-minute drive away from us, the town hall is in the heart of Stockport; which is why we were so proud to install the flooring there. This Grade II listed building has elaborate plasterwork, brass chandeliers and decorative carvings on oak benches, so the flooring needed to be just as impressive. The town hall is not only a licensed wedding venue, but also hosts memorable dinner dances, meetings and awards (like the Stockport Business Awards that we won Business of the Year at last year!). This meant the flooring had to withstand a high amount of footfall.

 

The Fletcher Moss, Didsbury

Classed as a ‘hidden gem in the heart of Didsbury’, this pub is a popular choice for those discerning drinkers who favour great beers, wines and chilled lagers, so we’re sure you’ll have seen our flooring here without even realising. The flooring perfectly ties together the wooden décor of the pub, giving the interior a warm and hearty atmosphere, which is exactly what you want from your local.
